ANNOUNCEMENT
FOR
EGAS INTERNATIONAL BID ROUND 2008
The Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) invites Petroleum Exploration Companies
for EGAS INTERNATIONAL BID ROUND 2008 to explore/exploit for Gas and Crude Oil in
Egypt.
This Bid Round includes (7) Exploration blocks in the Mediterranean Sea basin of
Egypt as shown in the attached map.
Interested companies shall submit their offers based on the Procedures, Main Terms
and Conditions and the Production Sharing Model Agreement.
The following condition should be fulfilled
Any offer with new terms or conditions, other than the Terms and Conditions mentioned
herein, shall be disregarded.
Starting ,Sunday,7th of September, 2008; interested companies can contact
EGAS to review and/or purchase data (2D seismic or 3D seismic or E-logs) in the
blocks of EGAS INTERNATIONAL BID ROUND 2008, according to the determined price list
as shown in the following table. Data for the blocks is available in digital format;
The cost of reviewing data (2D seismic or 3D seismic or well data including E-logs
and well reports) is 20% of the purchasing price with a minimum charge of US$ 2000
for each block, which should be paid or transferred to EGAS at least one week prior.
