Offshore Conference and Exhibition have been an overall success. The theme of this
year's conference is "Mediterranean Gas Embraces the Future" The figures show that
both the conference & Exhibition have grown by 42 % from the third MOC 2004.

First Cargo from Egyptian LNG Train 2

First cargo from Egyptian LNG Train 2 was shipped on 15th September 2005. The cargo,
comprising approximately 130,000 cubic metres of LNG, was lifted by BG Gas Marketing
(BGGM), a subsidiary of BG Group, one of the majority shareholders in the project,
for delivery into the United States. Turnover over of Train 2 is expected in late
October, about 7 months ahead of contractual schedule. The success of the project
crowns over 33 million manhours spent on construction of both ELNG Trains.

First Cargo from Egyptian LNG Train 1

First cargo from Egyptian LNG Train 1 was shipped on 29th May 2005, six months ahead
of the contractual schedule. The cargo, comprising approximately 129,000 cubic metres
of LNG, was lifted by Asean LNG Trading Company Limited (ALTCO), a subsidiary of
Petronas, one of the shareholders in the project, for delivery into Spain. The success
of the project crowns over 27 million man hours spent on construction of Train 1.

Two New Concessions entered by EGAS

H.E. Eng. Sameh Fahmy, Minister of Petroleum has signed on Thursday 2 June 2005
two new concession agreements entered by EGAS for El Burullus offshore and North
El Burg blocks with BP and BP/IEOC respectively. The two blocks lie in water depths
of less than 100 meters.

President Mubarak inaugurated First LNG facility in Egypt

President Hosni Mubarak, accompanied by Dr. Ahmed Nazif, the Prime Minister and
Eng. Sameh Fahmy Minister of Petroleum, inaugurated on Monday 30 May, 2005 the first
LNG facility in Egypt located in Damietta in Mubarak Complex for Natural Gas and
Petrochemicals.

The fifth Ministerial Meeting of the Gas Exporting Countries' Forum (GECF) was held
in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago and was attended by Petroleum and Energy Ministers,
Ambassadors and senior officials of the gas sectors of thirteen countries, namely,
Algeria, Brunei, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea (observer), Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Norway
(observer), Qatar, Russia, Emirates, Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago (host country).

Gazprom targets Egyptian Gas

EGAS has signed a preliminary agreement with Russia’s Gazprom to explore gas opportunities
in Egypt as part of the latter’s overseas expansion. The Memorandum of Understanding
was signed on Saturday, 27 March 2005 during a visit to Cairo by Gazprom Chief Executive
Officer Alexei Miller. Miller held talks on prospects for cooperation in oil and
gas sectors with Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Nazif, Petroleum Minister Eng.
Sameh Fahmy and EGAS Chairman Eng. Mohamed Tawila.

First UGDC Propane Shipment to Italy

The first shipment of liquefied Propane with amount of 10 thousand
tons, produced by United Gas Derivatives Company NGL Plant in Port Said, has left
UGDC jetty in Damietta on the Mediterranean coast to Italy on the ship “Queen Zenobia”
on March 2nd 2005.

Tawila, EGAS Chairman, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding. with Bp Egypt and
Eni affiliate Ieoc in the presence of H.E. Eng. Sameh Fahmy Minister of Petroleum
on 23 March 2005, setting basis for gas supply of a future second LNG train (Train
2) at SEGAS plant in Damietta, on the Mediterranean coast of Egypt

Egypt’s SEGAS LNG Startup

LNG world has welcomed Egypt as a new exporter to its ranks. The Spanish
Egyptian Gas Company (SEGAS) started producing LNG early December 2004, and loaded
the first export cargo of LNG from Egypt on January 20th 2005. The shipment was
carried by the Cádiz Knutsen tanker, one of the two ships chartered long-term by
Union Fenosa Gas to carry LNG from the Damietta liquefaction plant.

The ministerial council of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting
Countries (OAPEC) kicked-off its 73rd meeting on 11 December 2004 to discuss several
oil-related issues and approve the organization's 2005 projected budget. , said
a press statement issued at the meeting conclusion. The statement added that the
council agreed on choosing Kuwait as the host country for the next OAPEC ministerial
meeting on December 10, 2005.
