Under the patronage of H.E. Sameh Fahmy, the Minister of Petroleum, the 4th Mediterranean Offshore Conference and Exhibition have been an overall success. The theme of this year's conference is "Mediterranean Gas Embraces the Future" The figures show that both the conference & Exhibition have grown by 42 % from the third MOC 2004.
4600 participants attended the event, The technical sessions accommodated 81 papers covering all aspects of offshore technologies and latest development, production, NGL and LNG processes, environmental aspects and economics. Shell, RWE, Petronas and Gasco were awarded for best researches.
150 international companies from 28 countries exhibited their products and technologies in an area of 3200 square meters and reactions show a general satisfaction of all operators, Shell, ELNG, ENI, BG and Schlumberger were awarded for best stands.
We wish to meet at OMC 2007 in Ravenna and once again here in Alexandria at MOC 2008.
