Under the patronage of H.E. Eng. Sameh Fahmy, the Minister of Petroleum, the third Mediterranean Offshore Conference and Exhibition has been an overall success. The figures show that both the conference & exhibition have grown by 160% from the first MOC in the year 2000 and by 74% from the second MOC 2002.

3120 participants attended the event, 825 of whom were registered delegates to the conference, from 15 countries.

The technical sessions accommodated 90 presentations covering all aspects of offshore deep water exploration and development, production, NGL and LNG processes, environmental aspects and economics.

127 international companies exhibited their products and technologies in an area of 3200 square meters and reactions show a general satisfaction of all operators. bp, Halliburton and Enppi were awarded for best stands.

We wish to meet at OMC 2005 in Ravenna next March and once again here in Alexandria at MOC 2006.
