As part of the objectives of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) to strengthen the inspection and monitoring system for natural gas vehicle refueling stations, a specialized technical committee from the company carried out field inspection activities at a number of stations. This was done to verify compliance with operational safety requirements, the efficiency of operating systems, and the conformity of applied procedures with approved standards.

The inspection results identified several technical observations that do not have an impact on operational continuity or safety levels.

Accordingly, the companies owning the stations were notified of the recorded observations and instructed to take the necessary corrective actions and complete them within a specified and approved timeframe. The competent committee will continue periodic follow-up to ensure the implementation of corrective actions and to guarantee full compliance with safety requirements and the proper operation of the stations.
