The Production and Field Development activities at EGAS focus on planning and overseeing the implementation of both onshore and offshore gas development projects — from drilling and construction to production optimization. These efforts aim to maximize economic returns for all partners involved by efficiently utilizing existing infrastructure and, when needed, establishing new processing facilities that enhance production capacity.

EGAS is keen to attract and promote foreign and local investments in the development of natural gas fields, with the goal of increasing recoverable reserves and maximizing production of gas and condensates.

By accelerating the tie-in of new discoveries and integrating state-of-the-art technologies in drilling, reservoir management, and production operations, EGAS continues to strengthen Egypt’s position as a leading natural gas producer and regional energy hub.
