Vice Chairman For Administration Affairs

Ahmed Gouda was born in Cairo, Egypt. In 1964, He received the Bachelor Degree in Mass Communications from Cairo University Egypt. In 1986, He obtained High Studies in Business Administration (Manpower Planning & Development) from Zagazig University, Egypt, in 1994.

Ahmed has over 30 years of professional experience in the field of Human Resources Management  including conducting, participating and running huge number of training courses, W/Shops, projects and case studies for Oil and Gas Companies inside and outside Egypt.

In 1989, he joined Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company (GUPCO) as HR Specialist and in 2005 became Administration Services Assistant General manager. He Introduced and benchmarked Japanese Management style to be a role model for Ras Shukeir Gas Plant Management Team. During his career in Gupco, He Upgraded and Re-Engineered Organization Charts to meet HR Development Plans and business goals, Conducted a Competency Assurance Reviews for Ras Shukeir Gas Plant  & Trans Gulf Gas Plant, Built a Competency-Based Performance system for Ras Shukeir, Participated for 7 years as Gupco Renewal Team Instructor & Continuous Improvement Coach. He has Participated 4 times in Amoco’s Ambassador Team competition as a business coach for Gas Plant Teams, Built balanced scorecards for Adm. & services activities, and Participated in building capabilities of new line Managers into Gas Plant Divisions.

In 2011, he joined Egyptian Bahraini Gas Derivatives Co. (EBGDCO) as Human Resources & Administration General Manager. He Built company`s HR Policies; Organization Structure, Training & Career Development plans, Performance Management System, Creating HR & Adm. competency Matrix, Leading corporate initiatives for Cost Optimization Management & Social Responsibility. In March 2018, he seconded to Wastani Petroleum Company (WASCO) as Administration General Manager. He focused on Upgrading and Re-Engineering Organization Structure, building team woks and Empowering Junior Leaders. In Dec. 2019, he joined Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) as Chairman’s Assistant for Administration Affairs.
