purpose

The Global Projects organization was formed in 2019 and integrates decades of mega-project management experience, deep technical knowledge, and commercial capabilities into one global team that delivers projects across the Upstream, Downstream, and Chemical businesses.

As an expansion phase for the Natural Gas Connections Project in 11 Egyptian Governorates, the project will be extended to connect a total of 2.3 million households instead of 1.5 and cover 9 new governorates (Al Fayoum, Beni Swief, Menia, Assiout, Luxor, Damietta, Beheira, Kafr El Sheikh and Cairo). This major change in the original scope of work mandated the preparation of an updated version of the original ESIAF and a Resettlement Policy Framework is prepared.
