Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Follows Up on Gas Sector Projects During a Visit to EGAS, Emphasizing: Accelerating Investments and Increasing Production is a Top Priority

Within the framework of the continuous follow-up of natural gas sector activities and projects, Eng. Karim Badawi , Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, visited the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) ), where he held an expanded meeting with the company's leadership, headed by Eng. Sayed Selim, Executive Managing Director, to follow up on the workflow and implementation plans for ongoing strategic projects across various natural gas industry operations.
During the meeting, the Minister reviewed the executive status of current projects and their achieved progress rates, alongside available investment opportunities and the challenges associated with project execution. He asserted that the current phase requires accelerating the pace of work and intensifying efforts to support Egypt's plans to increase local natural gas production and maximize the utilization of petroleum resources.
