Thanaa Ashry is The Vice Chairman for Administration at The Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS). She held various positions in the administration and human resources fields across the oil & gas sector. As An Admin. Vice chairperson she applies exceptional organizational & multidisciplinary communication skills while overseeing both smaller and larger administrative teams. Focused on ensuring efficient office operations through effective management methods. Capable of managing multiple tasks with an emphasis on retaining quality standards and an Ability to quickly assess and prioritize projects and office tasks. Moreover, she is Proficient at evaluating problems and quickly advising practical solutions with the professional Ability to meet tight deadlines. She is as well a Good team player and motivator.

Thanaa Ashry was born on 21/12/1959 ,Cairo ,Egypt and holds a bachelor degree from the faculty of commerce – Cairo university 1982 .She brings to her position a well-established background in human resources and administration where she worked for over 20 years in this field . She began her career at Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company (GUPCO) in 1983 and held various positions there and then moved to The Egyptian natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) in 2015 to lead The Administration Department in EGAS to hold the position of The Vice Chairman for Administration and supervise the Oil & Gas Sector’s companies under the umbrella of EGAS Admin.Affairs.

Thanaa Ashry has an active role in the Oil & Gas Modernization Project, where she has devoted a lot of her occupational time to this huge project under the patronage of H.E. the Minister of Petroleum to act as a team leader to People Program (3B) where the human Assets of the sector are efficiently and effectively looked at.  She benefited from her extensive experience in the Human resources & Admin. Field to analyze the manpower across the company’s sector and pinpoint each strengths and weaknesses ,opportunities and threats in order to come up with a set of recommendations and action plans to be implemented in each company aiming at the development of the overall company performance with its human assets .
